What makes a company successful?
There are certainly many factors that influence a steady growth and success. From the way it is
structured to its strategic development, everything plays an integral role in its ability to thrive.
Ultimately, none of this is possible without its people.
Engaged employees are arguably a company's most valuable asset. So how can employers today ensure
that they not only find the best candidates, but keep them satisfied for the long run? Employers don't need
to spend a lot of time and energy answering this question. In fact, what they need to do is listen to the
needs of their employees, who want to see their company invested in the human aspect of work.
Investment can take many forms. The most important are training - developing the skills of employees and
providing professional development.
Let's start with the first one. The need to train and develop the skills of employees is also underlined by the
LinkedIn Learning 2022 survey, according to which:
• 68% agree that education should cover all sectors.
• 72% consider themselves essential for the management of a company.
• 87% claim that by receiving some kind of training they can respond to changes in their role or the
company.
• 94% of employees say they would stay with a company longer if it invested in their development.
• Employees who feel they have room to learn and grow at their companies are 3.5 times more likely to
remain committed to the company. Additionally, employee training and development programs have a
number of benefits for the companies themselves :
